TV Q&A: When will “Bosch” return for the final season? | Lifestyles
You have questions. I have a few answers.
Q: Can you tell me what’s going on with “Bosch” on Amazon Prime? I love this show! I read he was coming back for one last season, but I haven’t seen anything since.
A: The seventh and final season of the series based on the novels of Michael Connelly arrives on Prime on June 25. Amazon describes the eight-episode season this way: “Based on Michael Connelly’s best-selling novel ‘The Burning Room’ (2014) and the real arson case that inspired it, Bosch’s seventh and final season. of Prime Video puts Detective Harry Bosch’s famous motto at the center of the scene: “Everyone Matters or No One Matters”. When a ten-year-old girl dies in an arson, Detective Harry Bosch risks everything to bring his killer to justice despite opposition from powerful forces. The highly charged and politically sensitive case forces Bosch to face a grueling dilemma of how far he is willing to go to seek justice.
Q: I always thought “The Godfather Part III” ended with a solid lead for Andy Garcia as a new Don. Have you ever talked about a fourth movie?
A: Oh yeah. In a 2020 New York Times interview, Garcia said, “Not a week goes by without someone coming to me and saying, Hey, man, where’s ‘Godfather IV’? I say, I’ll let you know when I get the call. Obviously, a key character in a fourth film would have been Garcia’s character from the third film, the son of Sonny Corleone (James Caan in the first “Godfather”). There would also have been a story about young Sonny, and the reports had Leonardo DiCaprio playing that role. Still, the film never made it past the speaking stage, and while writer-director Francis Coppola recently reworked the third film to ‘Mario Puzo’s Godfather Coda,’ Coppola said he wouldn’t make a fourth film. But Paramount, which owns the rights to “sponsor”, might one day.
